My automatic transmission downshift is going very rough and making the entire car clunk before stop just about 10 MPH when I am braking.

I showed  it to a transmission shop and they suggested to change the transmission oil. Since my car has 75k miles on it I thought take it in for a transmission fluid and filter service. But I am not sure that would fix the problem!

Anyone has experienced something similar and know how to fix it?
